The project is to create an A2 poster for PETA organisation, about to make awareness about not to use animal skin leather,
PETA, People for the ethical treatment of animal. It id a global organisation to protect animal rights.
The theme for the poster is Python skin leather using in fashion industry. Pythons live in southeastern Asia, the East Indies, Africa and Australia and they live in rugged tropical regions that have heavy rainfall and forests, or low dense vegetation. Pythons Have beautiful, extremely beautiful skins that unique to each other. Because of this they have been using for Exotic Leathers. The pythons are hunted and killed alive for their skin. After taking out the skins python’s meat will sell as ‘BBQ python on a stick’. Skins are culled from the wild each year and traded with strict quotas.
The target audience of the poster is upper class youth,such as young celebrities, models and wealthy young people who loved to use python leather products.
The concept for the poster is ’your fashion accessories end up being their pain’. The truthful horrifying pain behind these colourful expensive fashion accessory brands are not what we think it is. To show this fact I have used actual images of python skin leathering process. That pops out from a luxury python skin leathered bag.
The purpose of the project is to make an awareness about the painful truth behind the python skin leather products and direct people to reject using python leather products.
